Efficacy of Plyometric Training on the Agility in Police Cadets

Background: Plyometric training is a hybrid between strength and endurance training. This allows musclesexert maximum force in short intervals of time, with the goal increasing power (speed-strength) whichensures better agility police cadets. Agility has been defined by capacity to retain or determine thelocation body shifting its direction rapidly sequence movements. Agility, speed explosivepower are qualifying components physical fitness desirable athletic performance, play key rolein most sports. can enhance coordination regulation locations throughoutmovement.Objective: To study efficacy 6-weeks 12-weeks on policecadets.Method: 40 Cadets aged above 18 years were grouped into two. A group continued their regular activitieswhile rest underwent 2 sessions plyometric every week for 6 weeks, along dailyactivities. Analysis was then carried out assessment T-test test, Illinois Test, EdgrenSide Step Test. Study duration months intervention 12-weeks, hence participants will beenrolled during first 3-months so 12 be completed successfully. Assessmentwill done 1st day visit at end 6th again 12th week. Participantswould have perform session Training per other group.Result: Data analyzed using paired T-test.Conclusion: Will published after results analyzed.
